Bhagwan Parsvanath is worshipped the most in Jain folks, and since Dharnendra and Padmavati played a very important role, hence they are also worshipped. According to Jain ideology, “Puja” is done only for Tirthankar, their sermons, and monks who follow their path. But, then also all Jain folks, address Yakshni Padmavati as “Mata” and worship her with equal respect, and just to mark the same, the idols of Bhagwan Parsvanath are made with snake hood on top, to represent Dharnendra and Padmavati. Few places even have a separate idol and Temples of Mata Padmavati, and on top of Padmavati fangs, there is always a statue of Parsvanath Bhagwan.
Whenever any disciple is in trouble, they remember Mata Padmavati and do worship and do pooja in her name. All these sacred books are very famous and available in Sanskrit and prakritik language. On the same basis Acharya Kunth Sagar ji and Yuva Acharya Shri Gundhar Nandi have also edited and compiled sacred text on Mata Padmavati.
